2022 was the Year of NEW for Riverbank Acoustical Laboratories
New Logo & Branding
It was definitely time for a refresh on our branding and we absolutely love our new logo and our sleek new look! We hope you do too!
New Website
If you’re reading this right now, that means you’re currently on our website. If you haven’t had a chance to look through our new content, we definitely encourage you to do so! You can learn more about us, discover the different types of services we offer, get an inside look at our testing facilities, download a variety of resources, including our current NVLAP accreditations, or watch one of our previously recorded webinars.
New Novelty Testing
Fun Tests, Serious Results! Earlier this year, our laboratory manager, Eric Wolfram, decided to test fresh sod to see how acoustically absorptive it was. He had no real reason to do this other than he was curious and wanted to find out.
This ultimately launched a whole new series of testing objects that you wouldn’t typically find in an acoustical testing facility. We encourage you to read both our current novelty tests on our blog (fresh sod and Christmas trees) and if you have any ideas for other objects we should test, send us your suggestions! Don’t forget: this is just for fun!
New Education Series
This year, our lab manager, Eric, presented two webinars on understanding sound absorption test results and the history of Riverbank. He’ll be presenting more in 2023, so be sure to subscribe to our newsletter to be kept up-to-date on any new webinar announcements!
New Resources
We have several pieces of new literature on our website that we encourage you to download and read through if you’d like to learn more about us, our capabilities, or the reasons you should test with us. All of these pieces incorporate our new branding, so take a look!
Looking Ahead
We’ve come a long way this year, and we can’t wait to see where 2023 will take us. We would like to thank our partners that have continued to support us through the many changes the past few years have brought to Riverbank. We are so appreciative of you and look forward to continuing these partnerships for years to come. We hope you have a wonderful holiday season with your loved ones and a very Happy New Year!
Please note: Riverbank Acoustical Laboratories will be closed Friday, December 23 until Monday, January 2, 2023.

Novelty Test Report VI - Gym Crash Pads

Novelty Test Report V - Beer Bottles
The 4th of July is coming up and we all know what that means... American flags, country music, fireworks, and long neck bottles! If after a few drinks at the BBQ you notice Luke Bryan's voice getting a little sweeter, it may just be the 200 Hz Helmholtz resonance of all those empty bottles!
